What is in a backgammon Anki deck?
Each card shows a backgammon position on the front, with the dice, score, and cube, and asks for the best checker play or cube decision. The back shows the engine's ranked moves with equities from GNU Backgammon, eXtreme Gammon or HedgeHog. Anki's spaced repetition schedules the positions you get wrong until they stick.
How do I study one of these decks?
Download the .apkg file, open Anki, choose File → Import, and pick the file. The deck appears in your collection and you can review on desktop, iOS, or Android. Decks made with AnkiGammon are matched by position ID, so a newer version of the same deck updates the cards without losing your review history. No Anki? Press Practice to study the deck in the browser trainer, which schedules reviews the same way and works offline on your phone.
Can I make my own deck?
Yes. AnkiGammon is free and open source: the desktop app analyzes position IDs and match files with GNU Backgammon, eXtreme Gammon or HedgeHog, and the web app does it right in your browser, with HedgeHog analyzing anything XG hasn't. Export the deck as an .apkg and share it here for other players.
